This Las Vegas house, built during the Cold War, was constructed out of fear due to the Cuban Missile Crisis. Half of it is built under the ground to protect its owners from a potential nuclear apocalypse. This is the upper part of the house.
The house’s 15,200-square foot basement room (shown from here on) comes equipped with a BBQ grill, a pool, two jacuzzis, a fake yard with a painted scenic outdoor view, and even contains another fully functional fake house.
It’s currently on sale for 1.7 million dollars. So if you’re rich and terrified of the end of the world, this home might be just the place for you.
