LAKEWOOD, Colo. — Courtney Coddington, the director and producer of the video that has now gone viral of Lakewood High School students lip dubbing Katy Perry’s “Roar,” stopped by FOX31 to talk about the process of creating the music video.
Lakewood High produced yet another video of more than 2,000 students and staff dubbing a Katy Perry hit song, this time choosing her latest single “Roar,” to pay homage to the school’s mascot Growly the Tiger.
The video, filmed in one continuous shot, travels through Lakewood High’s hallways featuring cheerleaders, members of school clubs, sports teams, student council and the orchestra.
Katy Perry even raved about the video on Twitter Wednesday saying:
