FedEx Employee Throwing Boxes Into Truck Caught On Video

This is exactly what you hope doesn't happen behind the scenes at FedEx.

A covertly filmed video in midtown Manhattan shows a female FedEx employee and an unidentified man throwing boxes into the back of a truck with little regard for their contents.

The employee starts by throwing the packages underhand and then switches to -- yes -- overhand throws for greater heft. After one toss, the employee gives the man a thumbs-up. Then, the man chucks in a box, which ricochets off the ceiling.

"That was white men can't shoot!" the man appears to say.

FedEx spokesman Shea Leordeanu told The Huffington Post the company looked into the incident.

"We are very disappointed to see this. FedEx sets high performance standards for our team members and this behavior falls far short of what is expected," Leordeanu wrote in an email. "We pick up and deliver millions of packages in a professional manner every day, and the actions in this video do not reflect our dedication to our customers. We immediately contacted the management team responsible and the appropriate corrective action will be taken."

The rep said the man in the video was not an employee of FedEx.

As bad as this looks, at least the packages weren't boxes of computers.
