Super-rich seek ovine status symbol

While many of us would agree that all our pets are priceless, some of them cost a lot more than others. And today we’re talking millions more.

Curved nose, twin tails, and long floppy ears. The Dolan sheep from Kashgar have become a status symbol for the super-rich and the best of them can be worth millions.

One breeder was even offered 14 million yuan -- that’s more than two million dollars - for one of his prize specimens.

Dolan grow rapidly, and can weigh 100 kilograms at just six months old. The price is usually more like ten thousand yuan, but that’s still ten times than a normal sheep
