According to reports, Kate Middleton, Prince William, and baby George will be moving into their newly renovated quarters in Kensington Palace next week.
After staying at different places while their home was being finished and ready to receive the new royal family, the Duke, Duchess, and Prince of Cambridge are ready to settle down in their own place.
The report, which appeared in The Express, states that the family is days away from the move, for which they have waited two years.
In the meantime, the Cambridges stayed at the Middletons in Bucklebury immediately after the birth of Prince George for about a month, after which time they went back to Anglesey, Wales where Kate and William lived before George was born.
The move should happen in time for the Prince’s christening on October 23 which will take place at St. James Palace.
Kate Middleton is said to have been very involved with the process and will leave her stamp in their new home. She reportedly drew inspiration from Princess Mary of Denmark.
A palace source told Sunday Express that when Kate and William visited Princess Mary, they enjoyed how she had combined the use of modern furniture and antiques and wanted to mimic that in their new home.
